Prepare the right image
PNG preserves transparency and avoids a background rectangle. JPG suits photographs with a full background. WebP converts locally with a white background; do not assume transparency survives.
Crop empty space around the logo and avoid blurry screenshots. Check the image’s identity and version; do not repeat unnecessary personal information across every sheet.
Choose readable placement
A corner is usually less intrusive than the center. A width of 20% to 30% can suit a horizontal logo. Check that it does not overlap headings, page numbers, signatures or QR codes.
For a central watermark, try 20% to 40% opacity. A small corner image may work at higher opacity, after reviewing its background contents.
Application and limits
Supported PNG, JPG and WebP images may be up to 25 MB, with five positions, widths from 10% to 70% and opacity from 10% to 100%. Image height is also limited to avoid overflowing the sheet.
- Finalize PDF order, orientation and numbering first.
- Load the document and image.
- Leave pages blank for all or enter a selection such as 1,3,5-8.
- Adjust position, width and opacity, then inspect several downloaded sheets.
A logo is not a digital signature
An image communicates identity or status but does not prove integrity or authorship and cannot prevent edits. Preserve the original and use the appropriate signature mechanism when required.
PDF and image processing is local. Check forms, links, annotations and signatures, especially in complex or previously signed documents.
